Canggu’s sleekest wellness destination, Body Factory Stay Residence, was the backdrop for my latest architectural shoot. Despite a moody, overcast 6:00 AM start, the soft morning light provided a clean, natural canvas to showcase the property’s modern design and premium finishes.
The Project Scope
I’ve spent a productive 8 hours on-site, meticulously capturing three distinct room types and the residence’s signature lifestyle facilities.
- Garden View: Focusing on lush ground-level integration.
- Corner Apartment (Level 2): Highlighting the unique architectural angles and natural light.
- Penthouse: Capturing the pinnacle of the stay experience.
- Facilities: A deep dive into the rooftop pool, sunbeds, and the sanctuary of the sauna.
The Workflow
With a wrap time of 2:00 PM, we dedicated approximately two hours to each room type and an additional two hours for the exterior and facility shots. This pace allowed for precise styling and lighting—ensuring the “Body Factory” vibe was translated perfectly into every frame.
The Gear
To maintain architectural integrity and handle the high-contrast tropical environment, I utilized a professional setup featuring:
Canon EOS RP with a 17mm Tilt-Shift and 24-70mm f/2.8.
Canon 17mm Tilt-Shift
Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 II
Godox AD200 Pro
K&F CPL Filter for Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 II
Beike Q298h Tripod
